Thanks everyone, it's been a tough battle to get all the little details sorted out on this.

I had a lot of the parts already when I started this. But figure:
Custom Headers
Adapter Plate
VK56
Custom Driveshaft (DriveShaftShop Aluminum 5")
Trans/Motor Mounts
ViPEC V88
Racepak IQ3

And you have the minimum cost of my basic setup. Obviously there are a bunch more parts. But I think you can get an idea from that list.

Yeah, it's really there.

A few reasons for that. It's a bone stock factory motor other than tuning and headers/exhaust. We know my intake pipe is choking the motor, the IATs are a bit absurd right now, and the pipe is too small. Something I should fix but haven't gotten around too yet as we just got the car started and tuned the other day. It's also on a Mustang dyno which typically reads "lower" numbers than DynoJet's, which is what you see a larger amount of people using for typical dyno runs. Factory rating is 305 hp / 379 ft·lbf (at the crank). It's nothing I'm really concerned about, a few tweaks (cams, intake pipe, throttle body, or a blower) and the problem will be taken care of. Just want to drive it for a bit right now before I worry about screwing around with stuff.

Cool...I didn't mean to imply low numbers I was speaking mainly of the tq dropoff up top...the restrictions would explain that. Good luck with the build!

I'm not surprised this worked, actually. Afterall, the 370Z was using 350Z body parts when it was being tested around.

It's technically just a track car, but I may reg it in Florida so I can drive it on the street occasionally.

I see you are running a custom Brembo set up in the rear; what was involved?

What are you running in the front?

I have two brake systems in the car. Factory Brembos on all 4 corners, then a second set of brembos in the rear on a custom bracket I made. Those are connected to the hydraulic handbrake in the car on an isolated system.

From what ive heard you just need a p.o box and dont even need to live there or own any property...I have to get more info on this myself for future plans if ny state inspection stays the way it is
