i put an os giken clutch/flywheel combo in... figured might as well, since the stock clutch would definitely not hold up at 375ft-lbs for very long... i had the tranny down and the engine out, so labor was not an issue
the ati guys might not need to replace clutches as soon, as the ati kit only puts out 300ft-lbs of torque, which is only 1/2 (about +70ft-lbs) of the gain i got...
time will tell!

Well, the tires would probably spin if I didn't have those big tires in the back, but instead my clutch slips sometimes. Not a tranny issue, but a clutch issue. The tranny itself is just fine. Guess I should've clarified that.
I drive the car pretty hard too, so I've probably put more wear on my clutch than most normal users, especially with the Procharger.

I'm going to be replacing the clutch/flywheel myself. I know that the ATI isn't going to give you the torque that the turbo setups will, but I figure while my engine and tranny are out, I'll just replace them. I think I'm going to go with a JWT flywheel and clutch, but really considering the light setup that Performance Nssan is selling. After picking up the stock flywheel and clutch, trust me anything is better, it's heavy as sh*t.

I actually have 275/40R18 Potenza S-03s in back, and I manage to slip the tire slightly, and not the clutch as much.. but then again, I have less power at the crank than you.
Either way, I love the grip. At the track (in Pueblo), it seemed like the car would hold on forever..

Yuichi was telling me that there is an Exedy Clutch/Flywheel kit coming out soon... which i think would be adequate for the power i'm looking to put down...
Mike- how do you like the os giken clutch? is that and the flywheel streetable? (i.e. did you get the dual disc clutch or the single)
i know dwnshift is coming out with a street version fly and clutch soon too...
hmm.. so many choices.. arrgh.

very streetable... its not like a 4 puck or anything... its a twin disc kit, and the flywheel i got was steel and not the aluminium one...
this reminds me... anyone want a stock clutch/flywheel to play with...? i will let them go for $100 + shipping... it only has 4000mi on it (all non-turbo, btw)

I'm still on a stock clutch, my second one, and its held up okay for me......i've been going pretty easy on it though........i think i'm gonna go with the JWT flywheel/ACT clutch when i need to change it again

I live right next to ACT actually.. (it pays to live out in the boonies)...i talked to them a few monthes ago and asked them to make me a clutch.. but they need a stock one to beta test with.. and i still have my stock one in my car...
Mike- if you dont mind.. would you let them borrow it to get design specs?
