Default Will an HR tranny work with a DE?

Hey guys, will an HR transmission from an 08 350z work on an 06 with the revup DE motor?

I have a 2006 G35 coupe, but got a killer deal on a brand new 6MT HR transmission and picked it up... If I can't use it I know people that can, but I'd like to keep it as a spare if I can.

Anybody know if you can take the guts out and put it in the DE case? Like what people do with SR and KA trannys

Any luck with the swap? I am interested on putting 07 5AT on 04, but the bolt pattern is also different.

you could, they are essentially the same transmission though with some minor changes done to synchros and such (and the obvious bolt pattern/clutch housing external difference). not much point though unless you are having problems with your current transmission that require you to open it up.
