Default Yes, another "I drove SKiDaZZLe's Car" thread.

Since all of the primo adjectives have already been used, I apologize in advance for any redundancy.

I had the opportunity to drive Michael's car a couple of hours back and I still can't wipe the sh*t-eating grin off of my face. In short, the car is out of f*cking control. Driving the thing was more thrilling than I could have imagined and I told Michael that I had not driven a car that exciting since a buddy's 400 Firebird back in high school. It's just that good. The time and effort put into the car shines through in every shift, every stab of the throttle and every sweet song of the BOV.

Imagine your N/A Z with the same power delivery three times over. It's amazing the job that Jotech did in tuning the entire system to deliver consistant, building power all of the way to redline. Smooth throttle deliver actually feels just like the N/A Z except for the fact you are going much, much faster. The ritual of building boost from 3,000 RPM onward is intoxicating, but watch out when you crest 4,500 RPM. ALL F*CKING HELL BREAKS LOOSE! Being the a**hole that I am, I took the most pleasure from creeping up on people's rear quarter, building boost and SLAMMING the throttle to the floor creating one of the most gut-wrenching, screaming symphonies of fury I've heard in a long, long time. I swear that when you are WOT on full boost you're not in a Z, but a worked LS1 with straight pipes. Scaring people is an absolute joy because cruising at 3,000 sounds just like any other ricer with a fart-pipe before Mr. Hyde rears his ugly head.

On my extended drive I managed to take some roads in Micheal's car that I regularly run in my car. The difference in power is extreme and in one twisty section of road I could only apply half-throttle, whereas in my car, I'm flat out through the same section in the same gear. Amazing. I can't see myself trying to control this monster on the track, but if I could have another car just for terrorizing other people on the road, this would definitely be it. I am smitten.

Thanks, Michael. It was truly an honor to drive and push that monster.

p.s. would using your ecu settings increase the potential "safe" output of another manufacturer's kit? I am not very knowledgeable about these things so dont flame me. thanks.
