There isn't any competition for them. That's the problem.

Put me down definetly, this thing is going to be a bargain for the performance that you can feel . Ive been waiting for this mod and at such good price...compare it to the NSX and S2000, $1600 and $950 respectively for ring and pinions.

When you have a top quality manufacturer who produces in low volumes, that's actually a good price. Porsche owners typically throw down double that amount...

I'm all over this FD...

Not a bad price for the increase in wheel torque that it will give, IMHO

Count me in also. For being the first ones, do we get more of a discount?

We looked into that awhile ago and from what found out it ...it doesnt fit ( that came from the guys at nissan motorsports parts.)
We will also be doing this kit for the automatic tranny guys.

I think when people look around they will see that this kit is priced fair.
There will be levels for anyone interested in becoming a dealer/distributor for our 350EVO products.
As I said before we will also be offering a complete service to anyone looking to buy a new diff at the same time or complete housing.
As far as pricing I may be able to offer some type of pre order sale with a discount. I will check on this and keep everyone posted.
Custom made ring and pinion's are not a cheap item to have made. There are many differnet things that make up the cost.
I assure you this as all 350EVO.com products are top quality parts.
Cheers

think of a ten speed bicycle...
You know how you can change what gear the chain rides near your feet? Imagine that's the tranny of your car... now imagine changing the gear that the chain rides near the rear wheel. Same principle as changing the final drive.

it's a replacement ring and pinion gear set for the rear differential. It will change the final drive ratio, which changes the overall gear ratio for the car.

In other words, shorter gears, more wheel torque, faster accelleration, and a lower top speed.

Your speedometer will also no longer read correctly, unless you get a speed correction box as well.

Keep in mind that installation is (usually) a *****, and will cost you quite a bit from a competent installer. This isn't an at-home in-your-garage type install.

If you guys think the $900 price is kinda high, you should've heard the original price of the set...$3500! BJ was able to finnagle the price down by several hundred dollars.

Thanks. So how much could something like this help on the 1/4 or track? Also is the speedometer going to read more miles or less?

Question Speedo

Guys - I'm relatively new to the Z/G family ( my G35 has only 1500 miles on it ) but I was under the impression that our cars' speedometers read off the ABS sensors like the Lexus cars do. I changed the diff of my GS4 to the Supra-geared LSD variety & the speedo didn't change because of this. Anybody out there who can clue me in on this as I might change my gears in the G35 as well?

Cyber - FWIW, changing from a 3.23 to a 3.76 gear dropped my GS4 quartermile times roughly .2-.3.

Speed is taken from the wheel speed sensors/ ABS on the Z and G35.
