Tugging when Accelerating/Decelerating
Anyone know how I can resolve some tugging? Could there be something wrong?
When I abruptly accelerate, there's a slight tug, but I would not go so far as calling it a clunk. I can barely feel it in my seat at highway speeds. Perhaps it's some sort of drive train slack for a part that commonly wears, or maybe something I never noticed before? When I throttle lift at medium to high revs, i get the same sort of tug.
I have a used 2004 Performance 350z, at about 82k miles, likely with the original clutch.
Thanks in advance.

Maybe the transmission experts can chime in on some other observations noticed... the tug occurs when abruptly lifting off the throttle, and can be better noticed at slower speeds. It is less apparent when cold, and more noticeable in 3rd and 6th gears. The "tugging" can be felt on the shift ****. Hand resting on the shift ****, it's definitely most noticeable at slower speeds in 6th (at speeds that most folks would be driving in 3rd). Maybe someone can describe how the gears are arranged, and how it may make sense that it's more noticeable with those two gears ...At the very least, I would like to know what the tranny tech is talking about, if and when that person would describe what can be going on (based on the symptoms).
