Default AHHH...finally back around my Z buddies!!!

Hows it goin everyone? I've been a long time z fanatic. I've had my 04 since it came off the lot and done LOTS to it. Now I face a big issue. To make a long story short I spun a rod bearing in the number 4 position about 5 years ago and my car has been sitting on the back burner for that ENTIRE TIME!!!...shitty...I know...but I kept my go fast alive with another car. Anywho, my baby finally rolled out of the trailer for the first time in that 5 years and its time to work on her again. Simple things that need to worked on would be my crank, rod and piston setup and maybe some fuel upgrades. I look to accomplish all of these things over the course of the next 2 months (finances permitting). I dont want to replace the crank just yet until I know whether it can be turned or not but just in case if any of you stumble across this and have the knowledge, shoot me a price on a decent factory crank that hasnt been re-worked. I'm looking to meet a lot of people on here and get some group buys together. Its been a long long damn time since i've dwelled in the industry but hopefully can pull a few contacts out of my *** to share with everyone and i'd like the same in return.

If you do want to hit me up and get a group buy going on anything to do with pistons, rods, rod bearings, cranks, fuel rails, injectors, FPR's, fuel pumps or anything else then e-mail me @ James.tapintilecreations@gmail.com

The company I contract for doesnt allow forum websites through their firewall so I have to talk through my personal e-mail. Hit me up everyone, I am looking forward to meeting and working with all of you to get my baby back on the road and tearin some **** up.

a factory crank is fairly affordable, brand new, and no need to worry about it

Just read the specs on your motor build and have to say i am dually impressed. I started the same project roughly 5 years ago on my 04. Since spinning my rod bearing in 05 I went back to racing my IHRA Top Sportsman drag car. Being around those guys helped me really get back into the groove of wanting my Z running again. I'm working with a machine shop out of dallas with an inside man to do most of my head work and what little I need on the block. I hate to burden you with this but you seem like someone that I could really work closely with on this and give me some inside pointers. Like I said its been almost 5 years and my knowledge of these cars has really gone to **** so really I just need specs on tollerances and so forth. Once I get the motor out of the car and start pulling everything apart then I'll hit you up and get going on this. If there is anything I can do to help you out as well feel free to ask. I've got some pretty good pricing on machine work and I have a buddy who works CNC machines so billet parts and such are easy to come by. Let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help. Thanks for your time and I look forward to working with you.
