Engine Issues?
I've got a bit of a worry on. I've done a couple of runs at a local 1/4 mi track and my times are appalling. 14.331 is
I run a Roadster, Rev-up engine... here's my current mods:
Motordyne MREV 2 manifold
Motordyne plenum spacer
Injen CAI
UR Pulleys
Lightweight flywheel
Exedy stage 1 clutch
HKS Hi-Power Ti Exhaust
DC Sports Headers
Megan Racing Hi-Flow cats
Bilstein coilovers
Eibach rear camber kit
Mail-in ECU reflash
Having a roadster, and weighing... a lot, got me thinking that my time may not be that bad... However, a recent run on a VERY uncalibrated dyno, revealed 201 rwhp... which is again..a worry.
Bigger picture: I am currently 7000 miles into my second engine. First one was changed under warranty... it melted a piston and subsequently put two holes in the block. It happened on a circuit, but I failed to mention that to the dealership.
In any case... my two explanations so far are: 1. my mail-in ECU reflash blew my first engine and is plaguing this one. 2. the dealership "tuned down" my second engine to prevent me blowing this one as well.
Or I may be just mental. Any ideas?

dealership cant detune your engine. all revups are the same. it would have to be an ecu tune to limit your power, not the block itself unless they filled it with sand or something spectacular like that. as stated above, get a real tune or some fi.
