vacuum controller?
Hey guys purchased my 1st z about a month ago (not introducing myself lol) and just noticed what appears to look like a "manual boost controller" when taking off the stock air box and piping. My engine is not turbo so it has me a bit stumped. I'm not sure what this is, but i don't believe it's stock, and i don't see the benefit of being able to control the airflow going to and from the TB. I've seen things like this made before on turbo applications acting as a manual boost controller, but would you guys happen to know what it's for in my case?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Are you sure it's an air line? I think there are water connections to the throttle body for keeping it at the proper operating temperature in cold weather. The valve may have been installed to turn the heater off for maximum performance.
Look at section em of the service manual for your year to verify what the lines are for.

Great information guys! Thanks.
EDIT: I do see on page 7 that it says i should have the valve closed when the ambient atmosphieric temps are above 55*F. I live in california and even at night it doesnt get as low as 55*F hahah! So should i have this always closed?
