stiff steering

Default stiff steering

the steering on my Z is pretty shiff. does Z's naturally have shiff steering or is there something possibly wrong in my steering system or can it be the 370 rims i put on? any ideas

no, your car was messed up from the factory. The truck feeling is exactly what you want.

#1 problem would be blown compression arm bushings. Tires don't make to much of a difference, my car gets daily driven with 255's then 275 to the track and i can't feel much of a difference. Then my other (stock) Z with 225's also feels the same. The steering on the 03 was hella stiff for a while, i though it was normal (ive driven many other 350's, some stiff, some not) then i changed to the SPL compression arm bushings and mine the steering is now easy like my 05.

i felt the steering is stiff on mine too when i first got it.
I thought my brother's g35 has stiff steering but 350z is way stiffer haha

if it is the compression arm bushings is there a way to check if it see that. like check for conditioning or wear?
