I did the first oil change today and I found a free trick that should net me some real gains.

When I checked the air filter I discovered that it had sucked up like 10 dry leaves. D'Oh! I bet pulling the leaves off the filter will help the power. <<slapping head>>

I have the stock air box so you guys might want to check yours some time if you had a crazy fall like we did.

the good news is that the factory ram air seems to work ok. 8*)

But has your 350Z made money for you yet? Mine has! I found a dollar bill stuck to the front of my radiator just as i was preparing to give her a wash. ;-)

 

Wow, I'm going to complain to NNA. I haven't managed to make any money or get free HP.

 

Every time I wash my car, I pull the air filter and remove the leaves and other garbage that gets sucked up. I also shake as much dirt out of the filter I can. Just be sure you stand far away from your just washed car or the dirt will get all over it.
