Installing AAM Fuel Sensor Adapter
Hey guys,
I have received my AAM Fuel Sensor Adapter and am now preparing to install it. It comes without instructions and I have never worked on my fuel system before so I have a few questions. I did a search but didn't find any definite answers.

On which fuel rail (driver/passenger side) should I mount it?
Do I need to take any steps before I install it? For example do something to lower the fuel pressure. I think I read something about oiling up the little rubber ring so it doesn't tear...
Okay last one. Can I install it without removing the plenum and intake manifold?
Thnx!

you can out it on either side. i put mine on the end of the driver's fuel rail as thats where pressure would be lowest.
but if you put it on the passenger side, you dont have to remove anything.
just use a little motor oil on the o-ring.

okay i just installed the aam fuel adapter on the drivers side fuel rail without removing any other parts
you actually have enough work room although it's easier when you are left handed which i'm not.
just like in str8dum1's first picture i had to mount that fuel regulator type thingy (without any tubes/wires coming uit) upside down because otherwise it would not fit with the adapter.
i take it this is no problem?
