Dyno date is setup for Wednesday, brand new motor is in with cams only let's see how that goes.

Godspeed man, this is the most absurd cam install story ever.

 

Well they were about to tune but Uprev postponed it till tomorrow because it was 108• degrees in their shop so tuning will be done "early tomorrow"

 

Picking up my car tomorrow finally after 6 horrible months I'm guessing the numbers the car got on they dyno are a surprise because they didn't tell me anything about dyno numbers. So I'm freaking nervous!!!!

what the shop say about the trq? best they could do. i guess thats why they didnt say anything to you about your dyno numbers

 

^ Think your right man. You all think I should take the car to a different tuner now that the car is back in my hands. The car runs great the only problem is hot starts it starts all sluggish and the idles great with 725cc injectors.

 

Should I go back to stock injectors?

 

Dude I'm sorry but this is epic failure. You could have had 450whp with twins for the price you paid.

 

why were you expecting major torque gains when you did nothing to generate such gains? This is not a torque producing engine in NA form with stock displacement

Probly starts sluggish because there's too much fuel. This whole build seemed like a giant waste of time and money.

 

The numbers seem a little wierd but ultimately, it is what it is. Unless the tune is bad that's what the engine is gonna give out. Maybe at some point in the future you'll get a chance to use a different dyno for relative comparision.

How does it feel? I know cams really woke up my setup. From what I see it looks like a success so don't get too caught up on the number.

 

Well the car drives great, and the idle is a bit high at about 1k-1200. Got on the gas yesterday and pulls real beautiful.

 

I'm sure it does....I would look up another tuner. For numbers purposes wait for a cooler day....it's sure to kill your numbers.

 

a cool day or a hot day on an NA car makes overall little difference since it's sucking in ambient air with the hood being opened
