gettign ready to change fluid yet again on my 05 pathfinder- at 260k miles LOL. Ive had the truck since new---tranny was rebuit at 195k. Fluid last changed at 230k. Are they any alternatives the the Jmatic ?

it funny your going to change your trans oil and im getting ready to change my trans oil on my Z. any recommendations for trans oil besides the oem fluids? i was thinking about going with redline. yes, it maybe over kill for what i do with the car but it couldnt hurt.

but that is for his pathfinder. i wanna know what he has used on his Z. but i am using amsoil for my engines oil

 

Don't know if he changed the fluid in his Z yet, not to mention he may also have a 6MT in the Z.

Amsoil J matic works great in the Z, i've supplied it for a few guys in the Nevada Z group.

 

S-matic is the new J-matic. I think changing fluid more often is better than picking an alternative brand, just for the heck of it. Is Amsoil and/or Redline that much cheaper?
