I would like to see this done. There was a guy on here that tried to swap a VH45 engine and it took up pretty much the entire engine bay. The spark plugs were almost unreachable. Is the new M56 motor much smaller in size? I know it's got healthy hp & tq numbers, but the question is will it fit? I'm sure it will so this is just a question.

I'd be curious to see if this could work. Doesn't the new engine have direct injection? Is that an issue when doing ECU tuning? I know it's a problem for the MazdaSpeed3 crowd, and the Lexus ISF crowd.

^lol at davidv's 5 month rebuttle!!
from my perspective-itd be interesting. however the limitations that arise when trying to integrate all the newer nissan/infiniti motors seems to be a huge downfall. also the direct injection is a pos. the new vk56 is great, in the m. i cant sem to justify the cost of the swap vs an f/i kit that will yield more power and less of a headache. even an ls swap seems less of a hassle
