Any ideas on putting an '11 M56 V8 into a Z? Has anyone done this or know if the the motor will fit into our Z?

lol, the 5.6 from the m56 is rated at 420bhp.

i think with the complications and limitations involved with the titan swap youd be better off throwing in an ls1

If only more people thought like this we wouldn't have 1/3 of the stupid bench racing threads on here. Thank you, sir!

Still a VK56, you would have to do all the same stuff from that link posted.

the "stupid bench racing" is where some really great ideas are born from. maybe if people stopped being so damn negative about another person's ideas and being more supportive there would be even cooler builds out there.

Do you have a '11 M56 motor? Do you have a 350Z. Just because you had a mustang with some bolt-on doesn't mean you're ready to tackle an engine swap like. Do do have any idea how tough the wiring and tuning would be?

No doubt, props for your work on the Mustang. It looks like a clean install so I'll give you credit for that. I'm all about new ideas, but this would be a very difficult swap even for for the most talented shops on this forum.

Yes I have an 08 350Z it's nismo #1464 to be precise. I can get an '11 M56 motor. Believe me when I say the Mustang was not a simple bolt-on and yes I do know what it would entail to do a swap like this. I've been working on cars my whole life and have built my fair share of them from the ground up. I have plenty of friends who will help with tuning, wiring and fabrication. I was just looking for someone who had done something similar for some advice. I just don't want to do a LS swap because it's been done already I just want to do something that's just a little different. Turbos and superchargers are nice too and way less complicated, but nothing beats the fun from a NA motor IMO.

Thank you for the props on the Mustang, it was a ridiculous car and JAM3Z I'm sorry I called you a douche. I'm just looking to do something cool and I'd like to keep my car strictly Nissan/Infiniti. I wasn't expecting on getting flamed for my idea.
