Default transmission

ok, this is probly a stupid question, but the other night , i decided to do a burn out, turned off traction control and floored it, well it spun thru 1st then thru second then part way thru third, then all the sudden it stopped pullin and acted like it was in neutral, i slowed down and stopped put it in neutral then back in drive and every thing seemed and acted fine. its an 07 automatic .. what would cause this??? and should i be concerned?

Sounds like third gear is broken. Probably need a new transmission.
