OBX LSD diff
anyone have any actual knowledge/experience with an OBX LSD diff?
I see a new one listed on egay for $685 shipped with bearings, seals and stub shafts.
Helical unit made in USA with limited lifetime warranty same as Quaife.

Do I want to see someone test this to see if they've improved things? Yes.
Would i spend my own $700 on it after the nightmare install of an OBX LSD in a DSM transmission a number of years ago that I had to deal with? No.

I may get one later when the car gets more serious. Combine that with a 3.5 rear end ( i currently run 3.7 gears) and for around $800 i can have 2 built diffs with different gear sets.
i have seen a modded one, i think cleaned up the interior walls and stuff. heres the link
