Rattle when excellerating
Hi guys, Im not sure if Im posting this in the right thread or not but Ive got a question, I stored my z for the winter a year ago and when I put it back on the road it had this weird rattle noise when I excellerated ( sounded like a baffle ) so over the course of the season I upgraded the exhaust and yet it was still there, then parked it for this winter, just put it on the road and put test pipes on thinking it might have been in the cats but yet again, its still there, any idea's on what it could be? has it happened to anyone else before? any info would be great, its a 2003
location of rattle, description of rpm range, approximate sound of rattle.. the car is a large thing.. a rattle could be anywhere.
Since you mentioned exhaust.. did u feel the vibration at the floor area?
Possibly a cat heat sheild.. misinstalled exhaust.. an old exhuast hanger giving out. etc.
Please be a bit more specific.

Yeah it sounds like its right under me when im driving, and it only really happens during quick excellerations from a stand still, mostly between 1000 to 4000 rpm then its gone, I mean I thought it was a baffle, it had that sound so maybe something is loose im not sure, I just want to have an idea of what i should be looking for when I get under the car considering i was ovbiously wrong with my guess. I'll try and get a video clip of it for the sound if that will help.
