Default Dyno Pulls - Helix Cat-Delete and Helix Prototype cat-back

Hi everyone!

We just completed some dyno pulls on our project G35 Coupe 6-spd.

First run - Completely Stock

Second run - Helix cat-deletes, Helix prototype cat-back exhaust (w/Y-pipe).

Dynojet Dyno. Temperature from 67 degrees to 74 degrees final run (due to facility heating).

Based on the dyno, we were quite pleased. Especially since on the 4th pull (not shown, the car actually peaked at 248whp) . FYI a 350Z with Nismo headers, cat-deletes, exhaust system made 247whp a few weeks ago and when we plotted the graphs together it actually made lower torque numbers in the midrange.

PLUG: Cat-deletes are good in stock!

Thanks,

Gary

Mike - Yes, the cat-deletes make the car sound a little raspier and louder. Unfortunately we cannot show pictures of the Helix cat-back as we are bound by non-disclosure until it is released for sale.

Thanks!

Hi,

The Helix website is Helix-Power.com. I do apologize for the maintenance of the site, we are US Dist for Helix, and we have been very slow on updating the site. Here's some pics of the cat deletes:

Thanks,

Gary

Hi!

The Helix cat-deletes use 60mm piping. I believe this piping is little larger than most on the market, and is best suited for FI applications.

Thanks,

Gary

why didn't you guys dyno w/just the straight pipes? so we dont' know if the gains are from the straight pipes or the exhaust.
