Best place to buy transmission parts?
New owner of a 03 track. I've had it about 24hrs now, love this thing already. I knew going into the purchase 3rd gear synchro is chewed up, but I've rebuilt a few manual trans in my time, and figure this wont be hard either. My problem is I can't seem to find a good place to buy a couple synchros and maybe some upgraded blocker rings. A rebuild set would be even better. I know, its probably been asked before, but searching "synchronizers" on a 350 forum brings all sorts of unrelated threads up. Any help?

Dave Burnett @ South Point Nissan in Austin TX is the best in the business when it comes to getting trans parts. He's ordered tons of this **** for me including 350z trans parts in the past. There aren't any aftermarket upgraded synchros available, at least there weren't when last I checked.
Also, I'm not sure what transmissions you have experience with but just be aware the 350Z trans is more complicated than a lot of other manual transmissions out there, and there are tons of revisions to various parts which may cause you issues if the person you're ordering from doesn't do their homework (for instance there are 3 different revisions of the 3rd gear synchro available because there are 3 different 3rd gears out there).
There are quite a few "gotchas" with this trans and all the different revisions to it, and if you don't order the right stuff you will be taking it back apart again because it's not going to shift correctly.
