Default Cruise control for base 2004 Z

Hi,
I picked up a 2004 Z a couple weeks ago and it is the base model with a 6 speed manual trans. It is my first Z and I love the thing. The only thing I'd like to have which is missing in this car is cruise control. I drive on highways a lot and really miss having cruise control. This car looks to have a drive by wire accelerator setup so I figured it wouldn't be all that hard to add cruise. But I have been unable to find anyone who has added cruise control to a non cruise car. Can it be done at all and for a reasonable cost or is this a real nightmare?
Thanks

It is a real nightmare. I have heard of a couple people installing cruise control but I don't think it is easy to do. If it were easy, lots of people would have installed it. And the drive by wire throttle is what makes it so difficult.

You should really talk to a Nissan engineer about this.
Or
You could use the search function and read the countless threads that cover this subject.
