Default Transmission swap

I finally got the money together to build my Z. I have lurked for quite some time, but this is my first post.
I have used the information in this forum to do the mild build that is my Z today (Rotura brakes front and rear, nismo wheels and suspension, lebrea long headers, nismo exhaust and intake).
I paid off my 04 enthusiast two years ago, and have been saving ever since(just save the same amount as my 60 month payment plus $150).
What I need to know is what the best swap would be for a manual transmission. I just don't have faith in the stock tranny, even with upgrades, to stand up to what I want out of my build.
Don't get me wrong, I am not going for a huge HP build. Just a very solid one. Looking for a tranny that can be adapted to my Z, and be good for the 450ish range.
Thanks to all in advance
Turtle

hmmmm...I work at a Nissan store (and have for 11 years). I love my Z, but I have already had to replace my tranny at 18,000 miles, and have seen too many of them going through our shop with lunched transmissions to go with that.
I hope that you have had, and will continue to have good luck with yours, but I wouldn't expect my transmission to last more than 20,000 miles with that kind of power in front of it. Unless I babied it, and that isn't how I drive.
Thanks for your input though.
ADDED DURING EDIT
After thinking about it, I wanted to clarify what I am doing.
I am doing what most would consider an overbuild. I am only going to push around 10, but I am going through the engine from balancing and knifing the crank on up. The reason is so that I have a car verging on stock reliabilty. This is only possible for me because I have access to a nissan shop, and no bills.
I know that I can get quite a bit more power for what I will spend, but power for it's own sake is not what I am after.
So, for me, the stock tranny won't work...
Thanks to all again.

@ Neal - mainly grinding during shifts. The usual.

@soldier
So you truly think the tranny will hold up to it? I have read up on the gear separation problems, and the relevant fixes.

As for the answers to my posts...I didn't really think about it one way or the other. I just appreciate any input

All in all, I just don't want to spend my money, and just end up with having to go back and do it again. I would rather not have to spend the money for a custom built tranny, but I will if I have to.
I just thought that with such a popular car, and a good powerplant, that there would be a swap that would need the usual bell housing and mount mods that weren't just for the strip(I have seen several Z's with Turbo 350 tranny - great for the strip, not so good for me).

If it's truly as simple as going with a cd009, that would be GREAT.
