Default Is the 350evo Throttle Body worth it?

I'v been realy busy and have'nt seen much on this product. I did a search and didn't come up with anything other then that there is one.

Has anyone installed one yet?
If so any problems?
Is there any dyno's of this?
Are there any reviews or butt dyno's?
Do you need to have your ECU flashed like the site says?

Or is this just snake oil?
Or is this one of those mods you do when you have done everything already?

Thanx in advance!!!

I have one, but it's for sale.

They claim to gain 3mph on Daytona's back straight but with the Technosquare ECU flash.

The TS ECU reflash is needed for best results. There have been many posts about the OEM throttle plate starting to close at high RPMS.....this is where gains would be....at high rpms...wide open throttle. We did many back to back runs at Daytona Intl speedway and everytime we ran this we gained speed....Tadashi at TechnoSqaure can verify. We arent into selling snake oil or gadgets at 350EVO....just race proven performace products.
Cheers

its not bad for its price it doesnt seem; but the core charge if you want to keep your throttle body is a bit much; not that its evo's fault, thats just how much it costs. but you really gotta be willing to go to the new setup and give away your old TB.

curious; but are there any dead giveaways that it would be replaced? like would nissan notice its been modified; or a buyer? for example with the plenum, if you return your plenum; theres no doubt its been changed, its easily visible; is the TB the same?

Do you have a bigger butterfly inside or is there space around the edges? How does that work with a closed throttle? I guess the butterfly is never really completely closed when the motor is on but does it affect idle or anything?

well this is starting to sound pretty good to me. The TS flash wasnt on my list for a lil while but maybe it will have to be more sooner then later.

So the TB is a completely High RPM gain. Where do the gains startt? Well what im trying to say is since you reccomend the TS ECU with it are the gain above 6600 RMPS? Since TS raises your redline to 7100 RPMS. Or are these gain visable before 6600 RPMS? Lets just say 6100?

I understand and remember the threads on the closing of the TB at WOT near redline and how TS takes care of that but is that why you saw the higher MPH? Do you have any Dynos so we all can see exactly whats going on..

Sorry for being soooo picky but im just trying to learn as much about this as I can.. I dont want to spend 600 for TS and 250 for TB for little to no gain. I know that there wont be huge gains but just a lil clearity or a dyno might be good enough for me to order

I think it's polished, is it not? My dealer never bothered me about warranty issues when I had an intake, and cat delete pipes. They even serviced my rocky idle for free, regardless of the fact that it may have been the AEM intake or the cat pipes causing it. I can't see many dealers or buyers making a stink about it.

Other than polishing, since the inside of the throttle body is covered by the intake tube, proof of modification can't be seen by the naked eye, and even so, I don't know how much it's bored out, but casual observers won't be able to see the difference unless they have a stock unit to compare with.

You can polish your TB yourself. Just take some aluminum polish and go at for about 10 min. See how smooth you can get it. I got mine really smooth.

No prob...everyone deserves to be picking ....ecsp when spending money is involved!
The T body itself is honed out aka made bigger...witha new plate and the throttle plate itself is reduced.
I have not run it on the dyno..just the race track.
The 100 core charge is an insurance policy basically. Once we get your T body back you will get your $100. A new throttle body from the dealship is over $600.

It won't come out to a great shine if you don't sand the surface a bit first.

I'm having my throttle body and plenum professionally polished so they match pretty well.

oh and for $250 bucks I think the throttle body is well worth it. It's on my list.

Installation is pretty simple ....ecsp if you have a CAI system. after you remove the top part of that you are 4 bolts and 1 conector away. You can take your time and have it done in under an1/2 hour easily.

Just a note..........we are currently out of the Throttle body and awaitng the return of the OEM ones. The last one has just been sold as of 11:00 PM. If anyone would like to retain their OEM throttle body check with MW... he is selling a complete throttle body for $800. This is a very good deal for anyone wishing to keep their stock one.
I can take names down for anyone wishing to get the first one we have available.
