Hi guys,

I got my engine rebuilt and in. 205.3 really easy miles later this noise started. Not really a knock... kind of a rattle? My cell phone camera isn't the greatest of course, but it picks up sound really well. Its not as loud as this vid makes it sound. Me and my stethoscope went to listening and it seems to be the loudest right on the Drivers side intake cam cover (rocker cover as it's called in the manual). I can actually feel a tapping on the cam cover. I am wondering maybe the vvt gear could be bad. There's only 54k miles on these gears, but stranger things have happened. Any thoughts?

I had a VVT gear go bad, I am not sure, but yours seems like the sounds in not very consistent. Mine was there and definitely had a rhythm
