How do I install fuel pressure Sensor for gauge?

Default How do I install fuel pressure Sensor for gauge?

I have a fuel pressure gauge (glow shift) and can't figure out where to put the electronic Fuel Pressure Sensor with 1/8th NPT Male Threads it came with. How do I do this? Thanks

The service manual section EC has instructions for checking the fuel system pressure. You hook the gauge to a fitting near the front of the engine, probably on one of the fuel rails. That would be a good place to put the sensor.

The tidiest/safest way would be to use an adaptor on the end of the fuel rail. You fit one of the these between the fuel rail and damper then connect your gauge sensor in the supplied hole.

There are a few available at various prices.

no, we dont use fuel lines like that.
