Can the tranny on an automatic Z handle the addition of a supercharger or turbo?

 

A few have been done, ask 12secZ/Max.

He has quite a bit of power on his 5AT.

 

There are some issues you should research first. The mechanical aspects of the A5T Transmission is rock solid, but these dang computers and modules and possibly even the valve body may be questionable.

I am not having any problems but those running stock ECU's are.

Good question to ask though, research b4 you decide. You need to talk to a guy here named Who's Daddy. He is spending about a grand to get his working but it hasn't been done yet. When under full boost at WOT his tranny stick, like a slip almost. Mine doesn't do that.
