Kit received yesterday. Will install tomorrow. I just want to give some kudos to Insaneamine today, let me explain why.
I ordered the kit sometime ago. It was shipped on a Friday. The next Friday, it was not yet received. So, I drop Insaneamine a e-mail and advise about the missing kit. Insaneamine says, must be lost in the mail. I will make you another kit.
No questions asked, Insaneamine steps up to the plate and was willing to make a new kit for me.
In fact, the kit shows up on Insaneamine's door step, returned to sender the next day. Insaneamine let's me know and mails it on Monday and I receive it Thursday.
Let me just say that I knew I could trust Insaneamine to foward the kit and Insaneamine trusted me when I said the kit wasn't received. In short, Insaneamine handles his little business like a pro.
Thanks and kudos to you Insaneamine.

I picked up my car yesterday, installed the grounding kit today. I think the only bad thing is my back is about to break, but the instructions were pretty clear. Thanks insaneamine!

Stinger Blue Installation
Installation
Stripped the 10mm engine cover bolt under the strut bar by using the wrong tool. Took off the strut bar to get the bolt off. Installation was pretty easy following directions and pics on this thread. The pics were very helpful. Avoiding dropped bolts from reading this thread was also helpful.
Will have to have the strut bar tighted at the dealership on my next oil change as I noticed the washer markers were off by 2-4mm. Extra bolt from Insaneamine replaced the stripped engine cover bolt.
Performance change
Idle smoother. Still noticed a slight studder but not as frequent and lower in intensity. Will need a few days to feel out.
Throttle response was definitely different and improved. Prior to the installation, 4,200 to 4,500 where torque really kicked in caused raspy and rough engine feel and sound. That is totally gone. It is now a clean response all the way up to 6,500 rpm. It's like there were two power bands before the installation and now there is just one smooth power band.
Too early to tell if there is a HP increase. If K&N is really 7hp and this kit is really 2-3 HP, then I'm at about 297 HP. I don't think I've gained 10 horses but I would believe 5-7 between these two mods. Will dyno after ECU installation.
Shifting
A little early to tell but it seems to be a easier shift.
Color matching
The Stinger blue is virtually identical to the Daytona blue.
Conclusion
Overall, I highly recommend this modification if only for the improved throttle response. The change is definitely noticable at 4,200-4,500 where the rough feel is absent.

This is all great but...
Anyone care to comment on the warranty and the implications of such a simple install on the warranty ?
I mean, I would assume it would have no effect, but does anyone actually have any FACTS or has actually talked to Nissan about it ?
I'd really like to get & install the kit but I obviously wouldn't want to affect the warranty in any way
Thanks and keep up the good work.

The quick and dirty answer is, yes, it could create problems. However, the corporation would have to weigh the cost of litigation in State or Federal court against the cost of honoring the warranty.
If you blow up your engine causing $10k damage, it may be worthwhile for Nissan to say, no, this isn't covered by warranty and we're not going to fix it.
Since Nissan sells it's grounding kits through Nismo instead of a free article or service, Nissan may lose if you're willing to spend the legal expense. However, there is a kink. Insaneamine's kit may not identifiable by brand, trade or corporate name. What would bolster the modification is if Insaneamine's kit was identifiable by brand, trade or corporate name (ie: K&N, Stillen, Insaneamine Co. etc.)
Bottom line, it's unlikely that the grounding kit will create any problem. You should be more concerned if it were a homemade turbo kit.
p.s. None of the above is, nor should be considered, legal advice.

Got my strut bar realigned by the dealer at no charge after my 7500 oil change. The service guys over at Torrance Nissan are great. They were curious about the grounding kit. I explained that the idle is more stable and that the throttle response is much smoother.
They made no comments about warranty and I did not bring the subject up. I really do not believe the grounding kit will be a significant warranty issue. If it does, I would give 'em hell considering the significant improvement I've seen after the kit installation.
After a couple of days, I'm very impressed by the smoothness. The engine now feels like what it should have been from the factory.
Insaneamine, one question, how will the wires plastic cope with the heat from the engine? What if they contact metal surfaces?

Good to here
It varies from dealer to dealer I think , some are more mod friendly than others but I tell you what, they would have a legal fight on their hands if they said that a GROUND caused damage (reference the links already posted), especially when it's a factory option in the Country of the car's origin!
They would have a class action law suit on their hands!
Uhhh... Right guys? hehehe!
Power in numbers!

If you really worry about the grounding kit and the warranty, take it off before you take the car in. I mean if you think that they could somehow relate a problem of the car to the grounding kit for warranty work take it off before going in. There not going to know that there was grounding kit on there.
