That is what I did.

Edit

Here is the email; with pricing. At the time the British Pound was 1.30 to the dollar so it was under 1k.

Total price with shipping is £645 + £120 = £765.

so I got the quaiffe for my base 350 and the installer said that he needed a new ring gear and I was missing parts. Said I needed new bearings also. I thought this was a direct replacement? Help very appreciated.

Quaife doesn't know how to ship correct units out. Better contact the seller fast for a solution.

ALSO. YOUR "LIFETIME WARRANTY" IS VOID.......................unless you live outside of the USA

Scott with Motovicity is not a fun person to deal with. He is rude and condescending. When I dealt with him he acted like he has never heard of this ring gear problem and gave me a run around about fixing the part. I first sent him a picture of the ring gear bolt not fitting in. He did not accept that as proof. I finally had to buy a digital caliper and send him pictures of the holes being measured to prove to him they were too small. Finally he accepted the part back and sent me a replacement ring gear. I had to do the labor myself to swap out ring gear. Make sure you register your quaife or he will not replace the part.

I just don't see how anyone can recommend Quaife at this point from a customer service point of view...constant issues with their lsd's, constant denials from both vendors and Quaife about such issues, and worst of all a worthless lifetime warranty...

I wanted a Quaife too but got a good deal on a used NISMO LSD and quieted it down with WPC on the plates; now I'm kinda glad I didn't go with Quaife...
