havnt really thought about the Tach yet....but mounting the motor all went well, looks to have even better ground clearance then the VQ did (big deal for me due to how low the car sets) but we are looking into maybe raising the motor about an inch just because of how low it looks when you pop the hood....

^^ smart man..... Well I am going to be running the Stack ST8130 display gauge for my LS motor. This will make life so much easier, for me that is...

if the mounting no problem to plant 2jz. i will follow you as my idol. in my country, the tax of vq35 is so expensive and i cant modified the engine's mounting. that's why i keep looking for all demo about 350z 2jz or 350z rb26. finally i got you.

Can't the stock tach be used? I could be very wrong, but I swore when I saw other Z with 2jz swaps, the stock cluster was used and working. I could be wrong though like I said.

will the shiftedperformance kit work with getrag 6 spd tranny or only with the w154?

motor mounts are done! like completly done, Tony re-did them 3 times to get the motor EXACTLY where he wanted it...heres the pics:

havnt hit him up yet...Tony is going to start the wiring harness here really soon, so once we see if he is as skilled as he says then i will maybe hit him up...just depends on what Tony gets to work and whatnot...ill deff keep you posted!
