Will any harm come to my car if I drive it for about 20 seconds without a cone filter attached?
Here is my situation: I began installing my Injen intake, but I realized that I should probably just take the front bumper off to make it easier on myself. I can't do that from my current location. So everything is installed except for the lower hose and the filter. Will it be alright to move it about 15 feet out of my driveway or should i leave it where it is?
Thanks for the help.

You can drive it. Nothing will happen. Race cars don't use air filters either. Now if you are going to drive it all around then I wouldn't. Just driving down the street will be just fine. Unless you live in the country and its windy.

Thanks for the help guys. I may just put a simple screen on it to be safe, but I doubt anything will happen. I live in a failry clean suburb of NYC.

That was my first though, but the injen filter is too long to fit as a "RAM air" setup.

yea dont even worry about it... just make sure there is nothing loose that is gonna get sucked in there in the immediate area. hell my friend went over 1 whole year with no air filter whatsoever on his neon, complete open turbo.

i forget where i was when i posted this,, but i was in vegas this weekend... while watching my sister play black jack I was posting on my cell phone..
funniest thing i ever seen... my sister had 16 and the dealer was showing a 5... and she went to HIT!!!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!
cracked up...
then the dealer nocked my sisters drink over... i never saw anything like that before done by a dealer either...
I didnt gamble much.. went clothes shopping mostly
Check engine light came on, but that's because I didn't have the MAF sensor installed. Car survived. Intake is now in, although I'm surprised at how tight the filter fits in there.
