Default Need help on a clutch and flywheel set up and question

Hey everyone..need an opinion in a clutch and flywheel set up for my 04 350z.

Currently what I have sitting around is a low mileage jwt flywheel and was planning to get the jwt clutch kit. I also have a z32 TT clutch disk but not sure if this will fit the 350z. Anybody knows if this fits? I would also pick up a new jwt pressure plate.

Also Im looking at a south bend stage 5 feramic 6 puck sprung kit with a act streetlite flywheel.

I'm planning to swap this and drive it NA till the Greddy twins go on and also build the motor on the side for higher boost. ( yes finally going to install them lol)

So my options:
Jwt clutch/flywheel combo
South bend stage 5 feramic 6puck sprung with jwt flywheel
South bend stage 5 feramic 6puck sprung with act streetlite flywheel
Or something different open to suggestions

My goal on this car to eventually hit 700whp with some tracking time here and there but also to take th car out on weekends to cruise around.

Thanks in advance.
Eric

If your goal is 700 rwhp why not get something that will hold that once everything else is installed? have you looked at the Spec clutch's? I've got a P trim twin disc and I love it.

Hey thanks for posting here. I want to drive the car around first before turbos go in and then drop the twins.. The motor is going later on. I've had experience with spec clutches and to me they are garbage.. I had a few ppl blew out there clutch and never buying anything from spec.

But I'll def look into the twin disk.. How's the pedal feel and how hard does it grab?

Yea I heard good stuff with jwt..I was planning to go with that set up but have second thoughts.. Already have the flywheel at my fathers shop. I have a jwt clutch disk and didn't realize it says for 300zx TT.. Is this the same for the 350z?

The jwt pressure plate is from a z32(or so i read on the forum), but it uses an exedy disc(stock I believe) and a lightweight wheel(the same one fidanza sells, I have it) Also a 6 puck is not that bad for a daily, I have once by fidanza and it's ceramic. It is not as forgiving as the stock one, grabs better, hard to get used to first gear at first, but other than that it's ok It grabs to harsh whe trying to ease the clutch into either first or reverse, instead of the car smoothly "creeping" forward, it jerks.

Ah so pretty much the z32 and z33 is the same? You have a link regarding to that? I have a brand new z32 TT clutch disk and don't want to go to waste lol.

I don't mind driving a 6 puck and it's not too bad since I have a act 6 puck on my maxima and prefer heavy clutches. (learned how to drive a 81 corvette with a race clutch)

Has anyone experience the south bend stage 5 feramic kit?

I'll look for it, but I don't think the discs are the same

forgot to update this thread...i went with the Southbend stage 5 6 puck with cyro treated pressure plate along with a ACT streetlite flywheel

More engine noise due to the flywheel...clutch grabs nicely but its a bit light...still breaking it in!
