2008 vq hr manual transmission

will the 2008 350z hr six speed trans fit into a 2005 z ?

It will fit bolt patter is the same but bell housing is different 07 and up Z have internal hydraulic slave cylinder and your has external slave cylinder that pushs a fork to work clutch

also the spot for the crank sensor is different. i am really curious if this will work as i think it will. just have to make a spot for the cps

It's not a direct bolt in. A swap is possible but will require some work. I'm sure it's not much different than what this guy did.
