If you look in the pic i had to cut the OEM baffel what do ppl do when you put a oil pan spacer? The pickup spacer pushes up the pickup and hits the oem baffel. I also installed a costworth baffel too. But i don't think that is the problem

 

i cut mine as well to make the pick up fit.

I just went to home depo and bought metal spacers and longer screws.
