I have a nice 95 240sx. I'm too old & don't have enough knowledge to do an LS swap. Can you recommend a shop? What shop is in the picture? I'd love to join that scene. I also want an auto trans & street car that I can drag race.

Snyperz, have you ever thought of using a "regular" 4L80e with paddle shifters. I'm using a fully built Stage V from Jake with an US-Shift 1 programmable controller(optishift-baumann) and paddle shifter; either gonna retrofit the OEM one from later models or go with the shrifter kit.
I'm far from done but the reliability and consistency of an auto/4L80e is what had me make my final decision after a weeks of research .

You guys are going to shoot me but I think im going to finally part with the car. IF I do sell it im going to get a White C6 Corvette(automatic)....put my 434ci sleeved engine in it...fully built 6 speed auto trans..and twin 42r rear mounted turbos. I have already put together a build list.

Our show did a 4l80 6 speed in a 2012 camaro SS its pretty nice using all the stock controls on the steering wheel with it. But I feel you being around vettes all day and workin on them all the time I'm ready to sell my car for a c5 z06. And keep my motor and build it as a boosted 427.

Yeah, I want something my girlfriend isnt afraid to drive or can actually drive and something a little more comfortable. The most expensive part of the build would be the engine(which I already happen to have) and high comp engines with low boost make insane torque/power. I will turn the car into a ZR1 on the outside using ZR1 factory fenders/quarter panels, black roof ( to mimic ZR1s) and use all of the carbon ground effects ZR1 spoiler. Ill be going with the Z06 brakes and something nice for wheels. I wont be adding ZR1 badges since clearly it wont be a real ZR1 but it would be stupid for anyone to be a hater since the car would stomp a mud hole in a stock or even modded ZR1. If I can find a strong enough automatic transmission to handle the kinda power I want to throw at it I should have a daily drivable bottom 9 second car.

Let me know what you need if you go the better route we have a wrecked zr1 at our shop. I'm not sure what the owner is doing with it. He is still dealing with the insurance agency because the people who towed it left the windows down and scratched the hell out of the CF roof. But we can get anything and everything vette related. Just finished a photo shoot today at barbers Motorsports park on a C6 we turned into a full track car with removable CF top and hatch and mco
