Good! That was kind of a simple mistake to make that can kill your motor very very quickly.

Very simple. I had to drive 104 miles (round trip) pay 8$ for the part..completely disassemble my car..and then literally POP this thing in in less than 3 seconds. lol

It's so cheap and easy yet amazingly it's nearly a backbone of engine operation.

Absolutely. Going to start on the exhaust tonight. One other thing I might add is switching to twin intake pumps from my magnafuel external was a very good choice. Damn that thing was annoying after about 3 seconds of running.

Once you did your initial V8 swap, is swapping again just a plug and play deal? Sorry for the noob question.

Its all good. And no. The second year I made a turbo kit..the third year I made the tube front end, and this year I went back to NA and had to make a bunch of new stuff.

Lol. It seems as though Snyper and I have always been the ones who went off the deep end with our LS swaps.

Looking forward to you being done! When do you guess you will have the opportunity to get to the track?

Absolutely amazing. I'm about to start my swap, I just can't decide which motor to choose.

Good work!

I was having an oil pressure issue from the moment I started the car so for peace of mind I took EVERYTHING back apart and pulled 2 main caps and one rod cap to find this...60 miles into a brand new 14k motor. Didn't bother taking the rest apart.

Sorry to hear that bro. That missing restrict or plug did a number on your motor.

First of all, ERL has agreed to my terms and will be providing new bearings and new head gaskets and I will gladly pay for the labor. As far as the harness...what wasn't wrong? The terminals were loose--id get codes for injectors not working, wiggle the connectors and those codes would go away and new ones would pop up..wiggle again and different codes. It didn't fit my fast intake manifold, I had to cut and extend half the sensor wires and lastly the 1&3 coil packs were wired backwards causing me to wash a cylinder down. =)) Oh the joys of building your own unique performance vehicle.

I built my original harness using a factory GTO harness. It was getting old so I had a brand new full custom harness with fuse box built by current performance. They are currently redoing the entire harness. They were very cooperative. I should have the engine back in and running within 3 weeks.

Also found this in the mail. =) This is a two stage plate kit specifically designed for the fast 102. Im selling the 10lbs bottle and going to a 15lbs bottle to support both stages. It uses a 6an feed line capable of flowing 800hp worth of nitrous.
