More upgrading. Snapped Rear cv shafts at the track
First run since the stroker got back in the car and tuned. First launch hooked very hard and snapped both rear cv axles.Left at 2500 RPM. I knew this day would come. I was using toyo street tires when this happend. I guess its about time to start to fab up a 9" ford rear end. This puts my turbo setup on hold. Lol

^at almost 2k...... theyre just modified Porsche axles, and if you snap them, well you get the point. if your going straight drag, IRS is not the way to go, plus ford 9" are as solid as they get.
IRS is never the way to go for a pure drag setup, but I wasn't aware that such a setup was what the OP was going for.
I just thought I'd give him an alternative idea, one that bolts right in rather than have the downtime and uncertainty associated with a custom setup.
I personally always like the KISS (keep it simple, stupid) principle, but other people like tinkering a lot more than I do.
