Default Strip FMIC back to silver, or leave black and use stencil?

So I jus got my greddy TT setup not too long ago and my front mount is painted black. My cars a DG coupe with black roof, and black tails. Now I'm stuck in a toss up between leavin it black or having the front mount stripped back to its original aluminum finish state. I wuz originally leanin more towards stripping it back to that silver simply so I can enjoy flaunting the nice big ol intercooler in front... OR someone jus gave me the idea to leave it black and paint the Greddy Stencil in the same DG color as the car. What do u guys think? Good idea or jus strip it back to original? it actually doesn't sound bad, although I wish I could see it. Any input would be appreciated, or if anyone has got any pics of something like this (black front mount with a stencil any color) that I can take a look at that'd be nice

it would help if you posted pics of your current setup, but in the end its your car, and you'll have to look at it everyday

stripping it will leave it dull and crappy looking. send it off to get repolished

No, it won't. Strip it with aircraft remover and it will look polished like new. I have done this several times, in fact even in some Greddy IC piping that had been painted by the previous owner. They looked brand new, didn't affect the polish at all.

If it was sanded proper before it was painted even if you strip it, it will need to be polished.
