Have been following your build and this sucks to see. I knew there were some problems when i mentioned that the intake manifold looked polished and was meant to be chromed.
I saw that you were also having some problems with the racepack. If you need any wiring, AN fittings done correctly, or any cluster prices like stack or anything for that matter. I know you are prob not worried about some of the little things but if you need anything feel free to PM me.

i thought this was an established swap kit...?? Didnt realize your car was their 1st try.

Did DSS make the driveshaft?

Coming up later today will be one of the most personal articles I will ever have to write. I'd like everyone of my fans to read this one look at it watch the videos comment and share it everywhere you possibly can. I have watched slanderous childish boys run a muck on the forums and it is time that I write something back. So later today, everyone, please take 15 minuets from your day to read this.

Subscribing...

Gotta Love NJ mechanics.... This is why i took my S14 to PA (Import Intelligence) for my motor swap.. 3 oil changes and 6400 miles later and I'd do it again and would advise guys to use them!

Bottom line is that without perfect documentation of the agreement it is near impossible for a judge to make an impartial decision. Add in that there is no true benchmark for this swap to use as a comparison against. Labor deals where you also get half off make the case even shadier unless there was documentation as to the standards that would be maintained. The op will be hard pressed to collect money even if he did win.
Wow man, sorry to hear that...

Well since he spent say 16k and they messed up in multiple ways, yes he is out more than just labor. He now has to replace parts that shouldn't have to be replaced, and still out the 2k for labor fees.

new pics of the motor being pulled out!!

b4 the pics...here is a quick list of things to look for
-driveshaft about 2 inchs too short
-water clamps on power steering lines (was loose and leaking)
-missing nut on turbo flange (was i guess too hard to get too)
-exhaust manifold was missing 2 bolts, 2 of the remaining were loose
-5 different types of bolts on trans mount
-onlu one bolt, ONE, on the pass side of the transmission holding the trans to the trans mount....the one on the drivers side was missing
-missing 2 bell housing bolts
-heater core clamps were finger tight
-radiator drain was finger tight (no idea how this didnt leak)
-when pulling motor, the passenger side motor mount FELL OFF! the drivers side was loose and only held on with 2 bolts

on to the pics:
the JB welded fitting pulled out

for a i guess, cleaner look...he drilled out the rivet in the VIN tag to run a zip tie thru to hold the breather lines

he made sure he had that exhause as tight as possible didnt he!

my power steering leak

this is where the drive shaft fits in the back of trans...this is how short it is...i think his measurments were a little off???

fuel lines zip tied to sub frame...sube frame was missing a bolt

zip tie attached to t-bolt clamp holding inner fender well up

this isnt THAT bad..but could have been cleaner...cut the bumper support up

fans were not mounted, at all...just wedged in there

missing nut on manifold to turbo

guess this explaines why my EGT's dont work

missing starter bolt

THIS MADE ME WANT TO CRY!!!i paid $220.00 for this shifter extension!!! broken then JB welded!!!

missing bolts from mounts to motor

on both sides

bolt block off...

this is what held the trans to the trans mount...this ONE bolt (that was loose)

got a new socket out of the deal!!! wooo

AND LAST BUT IM SURE NOT LEAST!!! (still have to look inside yet)

crack in my "new" 1jz flywheel

How did this guy have any pride in this car to sign it? Sorry man but they turned your car into late term abortion. I wouldn't let him put air in my bicycle tires, and I don't own a bicycle. I hope something good comes of all this BS.
