Default Poor fitment with Mishimoto hoses

Recently bought the mitshmoto hose set of four and the two radiator hoses fit fine but the crossover hose doesn't fit without stretching and then it rubs the engine. I ordered a second set and it did the same thing. Has anyone else found a crossover hose silicone, that fits right? I know the clamps are to small but I'm looking into getting some fabricated for anyone interested.

The Z1 hoses were a perfect fit. Op it would help if you posted pics. If it doesn't fit the second time, id be asking for a refund...

Do you have a Revup? Because if you do the crossover hose won't fit...same issue I had with Samco Hoses...

They should be fine. Dont see why it wouldnt fit. I remembered there may have been 1 hose that needed a new clamp. But rest were fine. Theyre pretty good w/ the warranty thing also. Yea, if not, get a refund and try Z1s or so. GL

Default Kept the rad hose.

Not a rev up 03. I need to check on the z1 hoses. I'll post a pic tomorrow of my fitment problem. I sent them pics and they said no one else had Any problems. I also had problems with their cooling plate having the holes not lining up and they had no cut out for the hood prop.

Pics would help - that hose fit on my Z when I had it. The stock hose rubs the engine as well IIRC. Wrap something around it if you are that worried, but silicone can handle the heat.

Are you sure you aren't trying to put it on backwards?

Default pics

My oem doesn't rub even though it has the extra rubber covering on It. I think I got these pics to upload. I had to keep down sizing. Need less to say I got my money back on the extra ones I order in with no shipping cost to me to send them to me or back. I will give them that.

Default no I'm pretty sure I can figure out a hose.

No I didn't put it on backward or sideways or upside down. I did try to stretch it to see if that was the problem and mess with the brackets but it still wants to push up against the bolt and cover. not good over time. It needs 1 inch on the bottom run and 2 on the top run with about 1/2-1 inch on the rise to make it fit like a glove. I'm gonna have to try the z1 or samco but they look like the same hose vender with different name tagged on them. I'd love to see pics of others on the car to see they don't rub. hate to take it to the track with the heat/vibration and constant rub. thanks guys.

The little hose will definitely not work with the revup....most of these hose kits were made for the 03-05 non revup engines....no one seems to have made an aftermarket hose set for the revup

If you want a full 4 piece set from Z1, ask for the Z32 coolant overflow hose to be added. Trim the J-hook portion and about 5 inches off of the other end and it fits perfectly on the Z33 (DE)
