First let me say I have an 04 Enthusiast DE.

Second, I want to say that I have tried to search the forums already and it yielded me no answer.
(I tried advanced search; Search titles only; and typed in keywords like "ring and pinion", "final drivers", etc.)... maybe I'm doing this wrong but it hasn't really helped.

So here's my question:

What are these final drivers and how do they benefit me??
How do they work? What do they do?
Are they the same as a vLSD?? (I have a feeling they are?)

I was doing a little browsing on mynismo.com and had some questions about what some of these parts do:

What is the difference between all those numbers? Are they sizes? What do they mean?
