Default Travismaser's Toyota 350z RE-build

Hey guys! So I’m back with a much bigger and better build!

For those who do not know about the last build, here is the link to the destroyed car I received after 6 months at the most horrible shop I have ever been to in my life: https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-...xperience.html

Now that I have the car at a shop I fully trust, (NSN Garage in Uniontown Pa) the re-build has begun!! We are COMPLETELY re-doing everything that the last shop attempted to do.

Here is the new parts list! (Includes all the new and old parts)

Engine:
-2jz GTE
-single turbo
•EMUSA intercooler
•GT4088R
•Tial 44mm waste gate
•Tial 50mm BOV
•XS Power manifold
•K&N filter
-Koyo radiator
-Titan adjustable cam gears
-chrome pulley’s
-Greddy timing belt
-OEM head gasket
-Greddy oil catch can
-BC 625+ rods with w/ARP custom Ag
-CP pitons with upgraded wrist pins
-ACL race bearings (rod, main, thrust)
-ARP head studs
-USDM water pump
-OEM timing idler pulley
-4” custom downpipe
-4” custom exhaust
-s14 throttle pedal and cable
Fuel:
-USDM 550cc injectors
--6SS line return
--8SS line “in”
-Walboro 255 pump
Transmission:
-R154
-ACT clutch/pressure plate
-1JZ flywheel
-Aluminum shifter extension
-ARP flywheel bolts
-Custom driveshaft
-1jz/2jz bell housing
Gauges/electronics:
-Defi
•Boost
•Water temp
•EGT
•Oil pressure
-Blitz SBC ID boost controller
-HKS turbo timer
-AEM UEGO
-Mega Squirt 3 standalone
Exterior:
-LM-GT4 19” NISMO wheels
-Shaved front bumper
-Carbon fiber hatch
-Polyurethane front lip (EBAY)
Suspension:
-Stance GR+ coilovers
-Kinetix rear camber arms
-Kinetix rear toe/traction arms
-H&R camber bolts
-H&R 15mm wheel spacers/extended lugs

and now on to the pics!!!

As she sits now!

The mega squirt

Old pistons (for sale)

New crank (mine was destroyed)

ACL bearings

Started painting the engine parts

New pistons and rods

Flywheel

and the dash after I mounted everything...(the last shop just had this stuff laying in there and some of it hot glued to the dash...was very very tacky looking

As of right now, the block and head are at the machine shop being cleaned, resurfaced and balanced. Once that is back (hopefully a week or so) we will begin putting it all together!!!

Good luck...post up plenty of pics.take your time and do it right. These builds can get expensive and stressful. Hang in there and patience will be rewarded.

Really freaking sucks that a shop can screw you like that and they don't take any blame for it. I have a guy that builds my car and he is a private individual. Only guy i can trust, hate 3-4 people working on my car.

Awesome that you're sticking with this build and congrats on moving on past the old shop that screwed you. I followed your old thread and it was a real heart breaker.

I'm sure all the hassle will be worth it in the end!

I applaud your commitment!!! My car would have been off a cliff or lost in Miami somewhere.

Keep it up and I hope you get it all done homie.
