Default stock cam specs

Anyone know the stock cam specs for the 350Z? Lift, duration, Lobe separation angle, timing, etc.

If you're referring to the stock camshafts, in 2003 there was one set comprised of four individual cams/part numbers, right intake - right exhaust, left intake - left exhaust, for all 350Zs and G35s regardless of transmission or body style. (according to my old parts guy), Don't know about the 2004 cars.

Digging up a old one. Trying to calculate lift. If the stock cams lift is in mm. In this case 9.2mm. Would that translate to 0.3588 (rounding up 0.36) lift. Meaning for every 1mm it is .039 lift.

correct 9.2mm = 0.368in.

1mm = 0.039in

25.4mm = 1.0in

It would be interesting if someone could research camshaft part numbers between the different VQ35 engines 350Z, G35, Maxima, Pathfinder etc...

Back in the 80's nissan in the Z31 (300zx 84-89) had different US and Euro camshaft specs. The difference at the time was huge. If I recall correctly, the US spec had around 240 vs 260 duration for the euro model. As it turns out, the euro spec cams were offered by nissan motorsports in the US as performance parts!!

As an owner of a ME spec 350Z rated at 294hp vs the US 287hp, I wonder were those extra 7 hp are coming from. Note that the difference is not due to different methods of calculating hp, i checked. I also checked other specs with even less power!! for example in germany and australia the 350Z has 276hp only!!!

For those who are interested check out the specs:
