I was thinking in the future about possible subframe bushings.
My impressions of the different rubber subframe bushings:

OEM: Soft, smooth ride, does not translate alot of road noise but does not feel super solid around corners, son of a b#$%& to get out.

Whitelines: 3 Piece bushings, Neverinstalled, when i inserted the metal sleeve into rubber bushings they were stillvery compliantby hand (sorry i don't have a durometer tester at home ), had elongated voids that would allow significant movement.

Energy Suspension: 3 Piece bushings, Solid urethane throughout, was very difficult to deform by hand without metal sleeve, with metal sleeve pretty much couldn't do anything by hand

I'll stop praising the ES bushings now

You could call whiteline themselves and theyll tell you what vendors have them across the country. It was very convenient.

Im very happy with their lca and compression arm bushings thus far.

Interesting, Ian, thanks. It's funny, i've seen ES stuff rated lower than Whiteline.

Guess i'll let you know how the WL are, i'm hoping they're at least the same as OEM, the blurb states they're stiffer, but comfortable.

-Trav-, thanks but Z1 already replied a few posts up that they have them in stock. The problem wasn't finding places that stock them, rather, places that have them in stock.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but -

I don't know anything about bushings, but I plan on drifting my Z more just for fun. I want to replace the parts that are likely to fail, before they fail. Replacing things that never fail is money that could be spent elsewhere.

That said, what brand and which bushings do I really need?
-compression
-rack/pinion
-suspension
-subframe
-arm
-differential
-sway

Is the squeak that bad? I don't mind noises as long as they don't frighten the passenger and I know what they are.

They're suspension parts, so not really the right place. Whiteline are less likely to squeak that i know of.

I will order now if someone can get them in the next few weeks!
Hi ,

we were alerted to this forum and thought we might help out.

These lead times are nothing we have ever heard of on this kit can you let us know who gave you a lead time of that far?

We are easily contacted by even email with replies made within 24hrs most times except weekends.
Always use our website dealer locator and you will see there are usually many around and even though you contact one that does not have stock others might.
We also have offices and whare houses in U.S and U.K that stock as much as we do here in Australia so the dealers in these countries can obtain stock allot quicker than mentioned
here is a link to the dealer locator http://www.whiteline.com.au/dealer2012.php

Thanks for your reply, i just received delivery from Z1motorsports.com - $15 shipping on 4lbs of bushings seems a little OTT, but they arrived well and i'm happy.

I can't give specific places, but pretty much any dealer you call just from the google listings for the part number, say they've been on back order since late February and do not have any hope of getting them in the very near future.

Could you let me know how these should compare to the stock bushings, and let's say, to other after-market options?

I was quoted 1-2 month lead times from conceptZperformance on both the diff and compression rod bushings... ended up going with energy bushings instead.

Yes i did, all installed ok, i'm very happy with them, nice and firm, whilst still feeling like OEM smooth. It cured the feeling of the car trying to 'fall off' the side of the tyres at the back when going round a corner fast.

Thanks, I should be good. My rear bushing is blown and I wanted avoid the solid replacements. I just pulled the trigger on this kit and will get a shop to install it in the next few weeks.
