Default 2006 w/ hr??

How hard would it be to put the hr motor in the 2006? I have an 06 now, and it burns oil, there is a hr motor for sale around me for $800... so do you guys think it would be worth it to swap?

cody 750 if the motor comes with the engine harness and ecu. the engine harness is diffrent than the de motor. it might be worth it. the HR motor is way better than the DE motor.

must be something wrong if the engine is only 800

but you would probably need the computer and harness

If you would have searched for "HR Swap" you would have seen that it is pretty complicated and time consuming:

Just contact Z fever. Theyve done the swap and charge somewhere around $1600 for the wiring job. I was going with a vr38dett bottom end with vq37vhr heads and greddy tt kit, but my fiance and i just broke up amd called off the wedding. Well now that im single a nice 2010 GT-R is coming to my driveway. So contact Z Fever they have already done it!!!

you would need much more than just the motor, harness and ecu. from what i read previously it was quite the install, requiring new body harnesses, etc. but it has been done.
