Default swapping a de into a rev up car.

posting for a friend who isn't active on the forum, He bought a built longblock DE and some greddy twins and is in the process of installing them into his 06 z (rev up) i told him the difference with the cams and the harnesses and that he probably would need to swap the ecu and harness aswell.

wanted to check in with the local's and see if anyone knows what all needs to be swapped. would just the ecu and the harness be sufficient? or will he have to do the gauges and dash harnesses aswell?

Change the heads to rev up heads and his ecu and harness should work. If he wants to keep those heads then u need the ecu to be reflashed to ignore the exhaust timing part (i believe someone can do that) if not then u need to swap the ecu and harness as well.

all he needs to do is get the corresponding de ecu and harness, and plug her up. he also needs to flash his key to match the ecu, and vice versa for a revup swap in a de car
