Default Fuel injector install question

Just installed rc 440 injectors and the provided spacers. Now I can twist the injectors back and forth and lift them up and down by maybe a mm or two. Should I shave a little off those spacers provided until they are seated tightly? Also when I removed the stock injectors there was a u clip holding them in at the top. They don't fit on the new injectors, do I need them?

you don't need the clips and it is normal for injectors to be mobile. You have an oring in a smooth surface so it's going to move around. The seal comes from the oring and it's instantly as soon as you put the injector in. They do not need time to "seal".

If you tighten them down so hard that they don't move then you are jamming the injectors into the manifold and can damage them. Moving 1-2 mm is nothing considering that the orings are about 1-1.5 cm into the manifold.
