Default Chipped/cracked JWT clutch disk

I just got my JWT clutch and flywheel combo in the mail today, and the first thing I noticed was that the clutch disk is chipped/cracked on the edge. So I'm wondering if it's ok to use the clutch disk or should it be replaced?

I can't give any factual answer, but it seems like it could be used.

The real question is have you contacted JWT to find out what direction you should go with this disc?

Get new one for sure. Why spend money like that to use something that shouldn't be chipped.

Use the replacement, not worth the risk given the labor involved...

I just bought the jwt clutch also and my clutch disc is the same exact way. Should I get the disc replaced or go with what the vendor said. Vendor said the disc is still useable and if I had any problems with it, he will pay for another clutch and labor fees. Apparently that's how confident they are with cracked/chipped clutch disc. I'm saving that email just in case. LOL

Any thoughts about this? Anyone ever installed a cracked / chipped disc?

I would never take a vendors word like that. But that's just me.
