Hey guys, I am in the middle of my GTM spec (http://www.gtmotorsports.com/product...cat=263&page=1) exedy twin disk carbon clutch install, and I am about to put the clutch in, but I just want to double check what this metal wire/spring is sticking out from my pressure plate, looks out of place and the instructions dont mention it at all.... so I want to make sure.

Here is a pic, its the wire thing that pokes out in the area where the throwout bearing would contact. Thanks.

 

Well, I am dumb, its just a retaining clip, once I torqued the pressure plate down, it fell off. Hopefully this helps someone in the future, because the instructions don't mention anything about it.

 

Let me know what you think of the clutch. I bought one right after you did, its sitting in my garage at the moment. Its almost too pretty to put in the car!
