Warranty repair question
Ok, so I'm driving home last thursday. I'm doing about 30. I've driven this road hundreds of times. I've had the z for about 2 weeks. I'm starting up a hill so I decelerate. It feels like the entire rear end is sliding out from underneath me. The whole car spins about the front left wheel. Long story short, I wind up pulling a 180 and driving up onto the sidewalk to avoid hitting someone.
I'm told this isn't covered under warranty. Frankly, I think that something's wrong with the thing. Today I hear from the mechanic and he tells me that the water bottle is pierced(see other post). What I'm thinking is that this thing leaked all over the inside of the engine compartment and got onto the pads. I'm thinking that it wasn't the driving becuase of the location of the bottle and the fact that the splash guard is intact sans the spot where I hit the curb. Thoughts?

did you hit some ice or rocks? because you would have a very tough time getting warranty to cover it without getting a lawyer involved. how bad is the damage you may be better off fixing it yourself, otherwise thats why we have insurance

definitely one thing to keep in mind though is to have your car inspected by a mechanic so you have a professional opinion, and i cannot stress this enough but document everything. take lots of pics and get statements from the mechanic. did your brakes lock up or the fluid cause you to skid?
